Masters Hockey Announces 2024 Outdoor World Cups

Dear Continental Federations and WMH members, 

Cape Town (RSA) – Oct 12th – 22nd, 2024

Aukland (NZ) – Nov 7th – 16th, 2024

2024 WMH World Cup Tournament Locations

Following consideration of respective bids and lengthy discussions with Masters Hockey representatives, local and national government bodies and FIH, the World Masters Hockey Executive Board, the governments of New Zealand and South Africa, Hockey New Zealand (HNZ) and the South African Hockey Association (SAHA) are delighted to announce that the 2024 World Cup Tournament host cities are Auckland and Cape Town.

Tournament dates will be determined shortly, but these events will most likely take place late in the year.

Age groups participating in Cape Town will be O35 & O40 Women and Men and O65-O80 Men (including Spirit of Masters).

Age groups participating in Auckland will be O45 & O50 Women and Men; O55-O70 Women () and O55-O60 Men with all ages groups including Spirit of Masters.
